A: We recommend a 3D drawing in IGS/STEP/X-T format. Alternatively, any format that provides equivalent information is acceptable, such as a CAD drawing with weight details or samples sent for evaluation.
Additionally, please provide related information such as the required quantity and any special requirements like painting, printing, or assembly.
Q: What materials can you work with?
A: We have the capability to manufacture plastic parts in a diverse range of materials including PC, PP, ABS, Nylon, PA6, PA66, TPE, PVC, PBT, Nylon with Glass Fiber, Polycarbonate with Glass Fiber, AS, PS, and more. We also craft rubber parts in materials like NBR and Silicone.
Q: I have a custom plastic part design but I'm not familiar with injection; can you advise on potential shrinkage or issues?
A: Absolutely. Our experienced engineering team specializes in both part design and injection feasibility. Upon receiving your drawing, we will assess its feasibility for injection molding and identify any potential design issues, such as unnecessary plastic that could increase cost and cause surface sinks. We provide feedback before proceeding.
Q: What color options are available for my plastic part?
A: We can produce any color from the Pantone and RAL color systems.
Q: What is your lead time for mold creation and production?
A: Typically, samples are dispatched within 30-35 days of mold order. Production lead time ranges from 2 to 8 weeks, depending on order size.
Q: What is the warranty on the mold?
A: We offer a lifetime guarantee for our molds. For instance, if a mold typically begins to wear after approximately 500,000 shots, we will create a new mold at no cost to ensure continuous stable production. This way, you pay for the mold once, and we handle all subsequent production needs.
Q: Does the mold become our property after full payment?
A: Yes, the mold becomes your property after full payment. We maintain it diligently in-house to support your production needs, and it will not be altered without your permission. We will not produce from this mold for third parties without your consent.
Q: What are your delivery terms?
A: We offer EXW pricing for air shipments and FOB Ningbo for sea shipments. As we are based in Ningbo, our nearest port is Ningbo. However, we can arrange shipments to other ports or locations as needed, with negotiable pricing.
