Q: What information do you need to provide a quote for a custom plastic part?
A: A 3D drawing in IGS/STEP/X-T format is preferred. However, other formats that provide equivalent information, such as CAD drawings with weight details or samples sent to us, are also acceptable.
Please also specify additional information such as the required quantity and any special requirements like painting, printing, assembly, etc.
Q: What materials can you handle?
A: We expertly craft plastic parts using a wide range of materials, including PC, PP, ABS, Nylon, PA6, PA66, TPE, PVC, PBT, Nylon with Glass Fiber, Polycarbonate with Glass Fiber, AS, PS, and more. For rubber parts, we work with NBR, Silicone, etc.
Q: I have a custom plastic part to make. I have the design but am not familiar with injection processes. Can you provide guidance?
A: Absolutely! Our experienced engineering team is proficient in both part design and injection feasibility. Upon receiving your drawing, we evaluate its injection feasibility and identify potential design issues. For instance, if the design includes unnecessary plastic that adds cost or causes surface sink marks, we will advise you before proceeding.
Q: What colors can you produce for my plastic part?
A: We are capable of creating any color within the Pantone and RAL color systems.
Q: What's your lead time for mold making and production?
A: Typically, we deliver samples within 30-35 days from mold order placement. Production lead times range from 2 to 8 weeks, depending on the order size.
Q: What's the mold life guarantee?
A: We offer a lifetime guarantee. Generally, a mold starts aging after approximately 500,000 shots. If production reaches this volume, we will manufacture a new mold at our expense to ensure uninterrupted production. You pay for the mold once, and we handle all ensuing production with that model.
Q: Is the mold our property after full payment?
A: Yes, the mold becomes your property once fully paid. We maintain it in-house solely to fulfill your production needs. The mold will not be altered without your permission, nor will we produce for any third party without your consent.
Q: What are your delivery terms?
A: We offer EXW pricing for air shipments and FOB Ningbo for sea shipments. As Ningbo is our nearest port, we can also arrange shipments to other destinations at negotiable prices.
