Q: Are you a factory or trading company?
A: We are a distinguished factory specializing in custom plastic injection molding parts, complemented by rubber parts and extensive after-treatment services like painting, printing, and assembly.
Q: What details are required to obtain a quote for a custom plastic part?
A: We prefer a 3D drawing in IGS/STEP/X-T format. However, as long as equivalent information is provided, other formats are acceptable, such as CAD drawings with weight details or physical samples for assessment.
Please also specify additional related details such as the required quantity and any special requirements like painting, printing, assembly, etc.
Q: What materials can you handle?
A: We expertly work with a wide range of materials, including PC, PP, ABS, Nylon, PA6, PA66, TPE, PVC, PBT, Nylon with Glass Fiber, Polycarbonate with Glass Fiber, AS, PS, etc., along with rubber materials like NBR and Silicone.
Q: I have a custom plastic part design but am unfamiliar with injection molding. Can you advise on potential shrinkage or functionality issues?
A: Absolutely. Our engineering team, proficient in both design and injection feasibility, will evaluate your drawings for injection suitability and design issues. For instance, we will highlight if excess plastic unnecessarily increases costs and causes sink marks, ensuring you are informed before proceeding.
Q: What colors can you produce for my plastic part?
A: We can create any color available in the Pantone and RAL color systems.
Q: What's your lead time for molds and production?
A: Typically, samples are delivered within 30-35 days from the mold order. Production lead time ranges from 2 to 8 weeks based on order size.
Q: What is the mold life guarantee?
A: We offer a lifetime guarantee on molds. Normally, molds start aging after approximately 500,000 shots. If production reaches this level, we will create a new mold at our expense to ensure continuous, stable production. Thus, you pay for the mold once, and we handle all subsequent production needs.
Q: Does the mold become our property after full payment?
A: Yes, the mold becomes your property after full payment. We securely maintain it in-house to meet your production requirements. The mold will not be altered without your consent, nor will we use it for third-party production without your approval.
Q: What are your delivery terms?
A: Our terms are EXW for air shipments and FOB Ningbo for sea shipments. As our facility is based in Ningbo, we can also arrange shipping to other ports or locations at a negotiable price if needed.
