FAQ:
Q: Are you a factory or a trading company?
A: We are a dedicated factory specializing in custom plastic injection molding, along with rubber parts production and comprehensive after-treatment services such as painting, printing, and assembly.
Q: What information do you require to provide a quote for a custom plastic part?
A: Ideally, a 3D drawing in IGS/STEP/X-T format. However, other formats are acceptable if they convey equivalent information, such as CAD drawings with weight details or physical samples sent to us for evaluation.
Additionally, please specify the desired quantity and any special requirements, such as painting, printing, or assembly.
Q: What materials can you work with?
A: We can manufacture plastic parts using a diverse range of materials like PC, PP, ABS, Nylon, PA6, PA66, TPE, PVC, PBT, Nylon with Glass Fiber, Polycarbonate with Glass Fiber, AS, PS, etc., along with rubber parts in NBR, Silicone, etc.
Q: I have a custom plastic part design but lack expertise in injection molding. Can you provide guidance on potential shrinkage or issues?
A: Certainly, our engineering team possesses expertise in both part design and injection feasibility. Upon receiving the drawing, we assess its injection compatibility and identify potential design issues, such as unnecessary plastic that may increase costs and cause surface sink. We offer feedback before moving forward.
Q: What color options are available for my plastic part?
A: We can produce any color from the Pantone and RAL color systems.
Q: What is your lead time for mold creation and production?
A: Typically, samples are dispatched within 30-35 days from mold order placement. The production lead time ranges from 2 to 8 weeks, contingent on the order size.
Q: What is the mold lifetime guarantee?
A: We offer a lifetime guarantee. Typically, molds start aging post 500,000 shots; however, if your order quantity meets this threshold, we will create a new mold at our expense to ensure stable production continuity. Your mold cost is a one-time expense, and we assume responsibility for all production from this model.
Q: Does the mold become our property once fully paid?
A: Yes, once fully paid, the mold becomes your property. We ensure its safekeeping for your production needs. Alterations are made only with your permission, and we do not produce from this mold for any third party without your consent.
Q: What are your delivery terms?
A: Our terms are EXW pricing for air shipments and FOB Ningbo for sea shipments. Being based in Ningbo, we efficiently coordinate shipments to other ports or locations, with negotiable pricing.
