A: We are indeed a dedicated factory, specializing in the customization of plastic injection molding parts. Our expertise extends to rubber parts and comprehensive after-treatment services including painting, printing, assembly, etc.
Q: What information is required to receive a quote for a custom plastic part?
A: Ideally, a 3D drawing in IGS/STEP/X-T format is preferred. However, if alternative formats can provide equivalent details, such as CAD drawings with weight specifications or physical samples sent for assessment, those are also acceptable.
Additionally, please include relevant details like the desired quantity and any special requirements such as painting, printing, or assembly.
Q: What materials can you work with?
A: We are capable of fabricating plastic parts from a diverse range of materials, including PC, PP, ABS, Nylon, PA6, PA66, TPE, PVC, PBT, Nylon with Glass Fiber, Polycarbonate with Glass Fiber, AS, PS, and others. For rubber parts, we handle materials like NBR and Silicone.
Q: I have a custom plastic part design but lack familiarity with injection processes. Can you offer guidance on potential shrinkage or issues?
A: Certainly! Our skilled engineering team is well-versed in both part design and injection feasibility. Upon receiving your design, we evaluate injection feasibility and identify any potential design issues. For instance, if the part is overdesigned with excess plastic, leading to unnecessary costs and surface sink issues, we will notify you before moving forward.
Q: What color options are available for my plastic part?
A: We can produce any color within the Pantone and RAL color systems.
Q: What is the lead time for mold creation and production?
A: Typically, we deliver samples within 30-35 days from the mold order. Production lead time ranges from 2 to 8 weeks, contingent on order volume.
Q: What is the mold life guarantee?
A: We offer a lifetime guarantee. Typically, a mold begins to age after approximately 500,000 shots. If production reaches this level, we will create a new mold at no additional cost to maintain consistent quality. Thus, you pay for the mold once, and we handle the production needs thereafter.
Q: Does the mold become our property after full payment?
A: Yes, the mold becomes your property once fully paid. We ensure its safekeeping to support your production requirements. Any changes to the mold are made only with your consent, and we do not use it for third-party production without your approval.
Q: What are your delivery terms?
A: We offer EXW pricing for air shipments and FOB Ningbo for sea shipments. As we are located near Ningbo port, we can also arrange shipments to other locations at competitive rates, subject to negotiation.
